I just read two articles on the Lolita Blog Carnival, one by MissCaroChan (FYeahLolita Blog )and the other one by Her Lumpiness (Her Lumpiness' Blog ) and I absolutely fell in Love with the thought of having a Lolita Halloween-Party. Everyone would dress up incredibly awesome as I know the Franconian Princesses... and wearing masks! I Love MissCaroChan's idea of a masquerade ball.
Reading these two posts, an Outfit-Coordination popped into my mind again.

Now: Some time ago there was this shop on Etsy posted in our group. As I was scrolling through the awesome headdresses (though mostly too excessive stuff regarding 'normal' occasions for my taste) this store has, I found this beauty:

It would be such a wonderful base to build a Guro-Lolita Outfit! And Guro-Lolita is just perfect for Halloween. Someday I will surely wear it.
I imagine it generic,
in a white Jsk or Op with a light grey muff and other light grey (fake-)fur elements.
Of course there should be fake-blood on the dress... (I don't know if I'm capable of doing that to one.. maybe it would be better to get a very basic and cheaper one for that purpose).
And now to the most fun part in this case: The Make-Up!
The base would be a very light tone to achieve a pale skin-tone. The Lips will first be painted with a nude lipstick oder concealer and after that with white theater-makeup. The corners then need a little red, just blobbing deep blood-red color (lipstick or theater-makeup, whatever suits one best) onto them. It should look as if you had a meal. A bloody one. And some blood is still there. Of course one could experiment with how far to go with it. It could also have left a trace drippling down the chin...or be smudged all over the face... well, maybe not the last one.
For the eyes I'd keep it more unflashy. Some black, sligthly smudged eyeliner and mascara, maybe fake lashes should do it.
I'm not to sure about the hair, it surely would be cool to mess it up, so you look like a 'wild thing' .. hehe. But keeping it simple and undone might be enough with the outfit, since the headdress draws the attention anyways.
I will post a picture of the make-up I only described above the following days, I'm just too tired to do it right now.
Forgive me great master of Posting! (Whomever that might be... God?)
Lots Of Love,
MrCatsEve
